Fida has Country Programmes in Bangladesh, Myanmar and Nepal. The main themes include conflict prevention and peacebuilding, inclusive education, digital learning, teacher training and employment creation. The Country Programmes reach a total of 328 000 people.
Fida has Country Programmes in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The main themes include strengthening human rights through peacebuilding and conflict prevention, employment creation, vocational training, inclusive education, agricultural development and food security and sexual and reproductive health and rights. The Country Programmes reach more than 3,3 million people.
Fida’s Country Programme in Iraq impacts the lives of more than 170 000 people. The main themes are primary education, peacebuilding and conflict prevention, promotion of mental health, psychosocial support and promoting the rights of people with disabilities.
Fida’s Development Cooperation Programme for 2022-2025 focuses on two main themes: improving children’s right to quality education and the rights related to safe living environment.
