Take the step and become a child sponsor!
In our world there are around …
· 200 million
child workers
· 200 million
street children
· 10 million
child prostitutes
· 600 million
children who live with less than one euro per day
· 35 000
children who die daily from malnutrition and preventive diseases
· 40 million
children aborted annually…
Together we can
make the difference! Strategy for child sponsorship programmes: New
programmes will be operated in limited periods, usually for 10 to 15
years from the beginning of the programme.
Our goal is to
encourage and inspire the communities in the developing countries to
improve their life-management on their own. Encouraging and
inspiring is done by participatory training and small-scale
literacy, water etc. programmes. The goal is that in every community
there are model families, who are a healthy influence to the entire
community. A sponsorship child is an important member of his or her
community. By following the life of an individual child we are able
to see the change our programme is promoting. The support given to
the child benefits the entire community.
Your
chance to help
A sponsor makes a
commitment to provide a specific donation for a child. The amount of
the donation is specified for each programme. Funds sent to the
children will support the entire community. A sponsor can be a
person, group or company. The sponsor will receive a picture and
information about the programme. The person/s in charge of the
programme communicate/s between the sponsors and children. They
report the progress of the programme in annual sponsor letters.
Direct communication between the child and the sponsor may, in the
family of the child, generate expectations and hopes that eventually
cannot be met by the sponsor. The persons in charge protect the
sponsor from these pressures. They also know the child’s cultural
environment and the level of standard of living and therefore are
able to communicate in a such way that has permanent benefit and joy
for both parties.

Give a better future
to a sponsorship child!
